The Zoo

I went to the zoo today.  I know it’s a silly thing to do when you’re income is limited and all that negative stuff but I did it.  This was an “artist date” I’ve wanted to take for awhile.  It was such a nice day and I promised myself earlier this week that if the weather was nice on Friday then I would go.  So I went.  I saw the lions and wondered why they didn’t jump over the fence that seemed really low.  To me the lion is such a majestic animal.  I saw two Siberian tigers.  One was asleep and the other was playing with its tail. I saw some kangaroos, polar bear, giraffe and penguins.  It was really nice to do something different for a change.  Since I’m not doing anything anyway might as well make the most of such a beautiful day.
