Tomorrow (Saturday July 7th @ 8pm) I’m producing an improv jam at John Candy Box Theatre at the Second City Training Centre. Come one! Come all! I’m super excited to improvise with whoever. I want to do a longform jam like The Harold, The Bat, an Armando or maybe a Commando (where everyone does a monologue). We’ll see how many people show I up. This is kind of a risky move having an improv jam on a Saturday night but I have nothing better to do and I’m sure other’s feel the same way. Most jam’s I’ve noticed are during the week and very late and I’m a big nerd who needs my eight hours on a school/work night so this is kind of a social experiment. Are there people like me who would want to improvise on a Saturday night at a reasonable time (8pm)? It remains to be seen. I think there are others like me out there.
