It’s a new year. Time to set new goals for the year. I have a lot first drafts and so this year I’ve got to try to improve upon what I’ve written. These are the shows that I have written that need improving:
- Mimi and the Music
- Character Assassination: A Writer’s Guide to Killing Your Literary Darlings
- Witch/The Diary of Mercy Bridgewood
- Life Inside a Teardrop
- Nobody’s Idol
These are the shows that I have treatments / outlines and have not more than 10 pages:
- 12 Dancing Princesses Adaptations
- Catalogue of Love
- My Big Fat Jewish Christmas
- Pet Project
The next list is of my unconventional projects that I’d like work toward making a reality:
- Violet Love – Greatest Hits – concept album
- Carly Quin – musical improv show
- Greeting Card Sonata musical improv show
I realize that these titles mean nothing to anyone but me. But that’s what I have. I don’t know how to focus on one and only one. But I can look at each one at a time for about a week, maybe even a month, before getting to a point where I don’t know what else I can do to make it better.

wow!!! So many creative ideas!!! I am very impressed. I would say not to worry about time: inspiration comes and goes and knows no rules of time… Have fun with your characters!!!
