I wrote the song Broken Places as part of the musical I have been working on Mimi and the Music.
I read a book by Martha Beck and she write about being strong at the broken places and to me that sounded like it needed to be a song. I don’t really understand how to be strong at the broken places but it sounds like something I’d like to try.

(He approximately said that the songs of despair are the most beautiful songs and that he knows some immortal ones that are pure cries with tears).
