Confidence

First of all: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

My main new years resolution is to be more confident and with that comes being kinder to myself.  I really would like to get one of my various shows off the ground – meaning off the page and to hear it out loud.  It would be great if I could really produce a full production of something.  I believe it could be possible if only I could get the funding which I will keep trying for. Perhaps a 2 day workshop or a staged reading might come together easier.   I would like to keep writing every day.  I would like to write a new song every week (which I have been doing since the end of November).  I want to put those songs out there in some way shape or form.  I really want to try stand-up.  I want to improvise more.  I want to work out regularly.  I want to clean my apartment regularly.    I want to do laundry once a week (even if I have enough clothes meaning I don’t really have to – I want to!).  I want to be able to sit down and play on piano/sing my songs without hesitation.  I would like to be able to talk about my projects in a confident way that gets people excited about the prospects.  I truly believe I am full of inspired ideas and characters and plots and songs.  I think other people probably sense its just the confidence thing that makes it go all wonky.  Oh yeah and just in case the universe and the law of attraction is really, really listening I also want millions upon millions of dollars at my door by morning.
