Blessed

Even though I spend a great amount of mental energy complaining about what hasn’t happened in my career, the one thing I am truly grateful for are the plethora of ideas, melodies, characters and stories that happen upon me.  Every single day a new exciting thought dawns on me.  Those are the best kind of ideas.  The one’s that just occur to you out of nowhere.  The part that’s always tricky is getting that gem of an idea out of the mind and doing something about it.  I wish it could just be a given that when you write it down then it will see the light of day.  That the fun thoughts do become things.  The fear thoughts tend to get in the way and try to stop all the fun.
