This week at karaoke were singing songs that start with the letter “T”. Surprisingly there are not that many that I know and would like to sing. But here is my list:
- Take me or Leave Me – Rent
- Take A Bow – Madonna or Rhianna (which ever, really)
- Take My Breath Away – Berlin
- The Best – Tina Turner (I always thought the title was Simply the best but the official title is The Best
- The Fear – Lilly Allen
- The Trolley Song – Judy Garland – but I’ve actually sang this son at karaoke before
- The Shoop Shoop Song (It’s In His Kiss) – Cher version or Betty Everett
- The Sign – Ace of Bace
- The Way You Make Me Feel – Michael Jackson – do I really want to sing this song?
- There’s No Business Like Show Business – Ethel Merman – now were on to something
- Things That Make you go Hmmm… – C & C Music Factory – this song would be really fun
- Think – Aretha Franklin – I do love this song
- Those were the Days – Theme to All In the Family
- Til The World Ends – Britney Spears
- Too Much – Spice Girls
- Total Eclipse of the Heart – Bonnie Tyler – but someone else will do that
- Toxic – Britney Spears
- Tragic Kingdom – No Doubt
- True Blue – Madonna
- True Colors – Cyndi Lauper
- Thoroughly Modern Millie
Hmm? What to sing? I kind of feel like the songs that start with ‘The” is kind of a cop out. I guess my first choice would be ‘Think’ and then ‘The Best” but hmmm. I don’t know I’ve been reaching lately with my song choices. Maybe I choose something a little easier so I can actually sound good. But I like those diva-type songs. I should go for something like ‘There’s No Business Like Show Business” or even Ace of Base’s ‘The Sign’ would be fun. I guess we’ll see.
