Lean becomes Mr. Bean

Oh my God – literally.  I went to sing in a church choir this morning.  I have never been to church on a Sunday before so it was an interesting experience.  I felt a bit like Mr. Bean though.  I sat down at the wrong time at one point, I didn’t walk down the aisle in the right order and someone pulled me by the robe so I would be in line (which was kind of embarrassing) and there was the one hymn I didn’t know and literally just sang the ‘Hallelujah” part the way Mr. Bean does in that episode where he goes to church.  I don’t know if I’m going to go every week or maybe I’ll go just until the end of the year or until I secure employment and might be too tired to go.   Since at the end of the week it’ll be Remembrance Day we sang a bunch of sad songs about war.  Hopefully closer to the holidays we’ll sing more cheerful happy songs.
