Sally Simpson

She knew from the start deep down in her heart that her and this callback were worlds a part….But her boyfriend and vocal coach both said “Never mind, you’re part is just to do the best you can’.  Yet I am still freaking out.  And feeling apologetic for not being able to learn the song properly.  Every time I practice I feel like I’m singing the notes wrong.  I need someone who knows here to tell me – yes that note is correct.  I also wrote on it this morning and I feel ok about possibly being cast as ‘the doctor’ or ‘the hawker’ or whatever.  That’s what I want a small role where I can sing with the chorus as well as have a small solo.  Not ready for a Mrs. Walker.  Wish I could be an Acid Queen or a Sally Simpson but whatever happens happens.
